LUPITAS! ~ Original and Lovely Our Lady of Guadalupe Painting #5

My original Guadalupe painting is created using metallic acrylic paints on a 5x7 canvas board.

Our Lady of Guadalupe is the representation of the Virgin Mary, as she appeared to Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill (Mexico) in 1531. She offered her unconditional love and protection to all. I've always believed that she represents a love that is perfect and non-judgmental, and it does not matter if you believe in her because she will always believe in you.

This is a mixed media piece. The image of Guadalupe is painted on fabric canvas and then adhered to a thick wood block. Emebellished and hand painted trim in colors and style that complement her image.
